48 hours awake at Berlin Festival

With the 5th edition of Berlin Music Week the Berlin Festival is entering the next round as well. At the 48-hour nonstop festival, taking place from 5th-7th of September at Arena Park, the crowd is going to skip the curfew and party on until the break of dawn and beyond.

A few live acts are already unveiled. Editors will be back at the area after their performance in 2010. A premiere it will be for Woodkid and Moderat, though. Under the moniker of DARKSIDE, Nicolas Jaar und Dave Harrington will present their newest album “Psychic”.

On top, Chase & Status will play one of their DJ sets in tow with artist Rage. To the delight of hip hop fans Kid Ink, Fünf Sterne Deluxe, Genetikk, Foreign Beggars, Mykki Blanco and Olson have been confirmed as well.

Further additions to the line-up include: Warpaint, Crystal Fighters, K.I.Z., Austra, Ellen Allien, Alle Farben, Mount Kimbie, Bilderbuch, The Acid and Nod One’s Head. Many more acts will be announced soon.

With one ticket only festivalgoers are able to stay the whole 48 hours at the Arena Park or come and go whenever they want to. Berlin Festival tickets are now available for an early bird price of EUR 74 plus booking fees under until April 30. The first 2000 buyers will get a ticket for the Berlin Music Week's showcase festival First We Take Berlin on top for free!
