ONCE AGAIN IN BERLIN: THE NEW MUSIC AWARD

Promoting new musical talent and giving them their first big chance for the future – the nine young programmes of ARD, Germany’s public service broadcaster, will be joining forces and presenting the coveted New Music Award for the sixth time at the grand finale of the Berlin Music Week. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, 8 September 2013 at the Admiralspalast in Berlin-Mitte.

Winners of the New Music Award in previous years include the now Germany-wide famous band from Hamburg Tonbandgerät, the Chemnitz-based band Kraftklub and Berlin’s avant-electro punks Bonaparte.

The New Music Award is a joint production of Bremen Vier (Radio Bremen), DASDING (SWR), 1LIVE (WDR), Fritz (rbb), MDR SPUTNIK, N-JOY (NDR), PULS (BR), 103.7 UnserDing (SR) and YOU FM (hr).
