Under the moniker of Tropics, UK-based singer Chris Ward found his musical outlet. His debut album, „Parodia Flare“ (Planet-Mu) was celebrated by Pitchfork because of its diversity and playfulness. Genre-wise his blend of electronica, dubstep, tropical pop and balearic sounds is reminiscent of James Blake, Damon Albarn, Disclosure and sometimes a little bit of Radiohead even.
