In the past, Ellen Allien’s label BPitch Control, which was founded in the late 90s, brought forth such artists as Paul Kalkbrenner, Modeselektor, and, of course, the label boss herself. Allien is one of the most sought after DJs in the country having been asked to remix such artists as Thom Yorke or Beck several times as well. Due to her work ethics, her DJ sets still rank amongst the best the international techno posse has to offer. The grande dame, however, doesn’t show up all by herself. She’s about to bring some new talent along with her.
