David Ivar a.k.a. Black Yaya describes his alter ego as follows: „Black Yaya is the offspring of Rage and Thunder. Black Yaya is Anger and Guile. Black Yaya is a Merciless Fight, and Redemption Songs“. It does sound a bit scary. Yet, when you listen to the Herman Dune frontman's music, it sounds even more vibrant and colourful then you might have guessed. Like a young deer across a flowerfield, his indie folk melodies and synth sounds jump through the air. 70s influences and acoustic guitars complete the sound of the summer!
