Sebastian Fittko has more than 12 years of internet and media industry experience in various roles and positions at startups and corporate companies. His general interest is in startups and their transforming impact on new business, innovation, product creation and organizations. He studied product design at Wuppertal University and corporate management and economics at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen. After his master studies at Zeppelin University he co-founded the predecessor of the hub:raum incubator at Deutsche Telekom R&D department T-Labs. He managed several R&D spin-offs, e.g. wahwah.fm during his time at Deutsche Telekom.
In 2011 he joined relevantive AG where he head the consulting branch. He drove the development of a number of new services based on the Lean Startup methodology which were successfully conducted in the market research and product development of new internet products and services at several leading telco, internet and media companies. In his current position at Axel Springer Mediahouse Berlin GmbH he drives the digital new business development with internal projects and partnering with startups. Sebastian also shares his knowledge and experience on several startup and entrepreneurship topics as lecturer at Zeppelin University and as a mentor at Founder Institute Berlin.
