Berlin Music Week

Berlin is back on the map for international music events.

Berlin is unlike any other city when it comes to the way music history and the future of music converge and in September 2012 it will once again become a stage for the international music world.

From September 5-9, 2012, Berlin will again be transformed into an international industry gathering, a marketplace, conference and live music experience for music fans and an audience of industry professionals.

Regional, national and international business platforms, live entertainment, organizers and industry networks all join forces under the umbrella of Berlin Music Week.

THIRD BERLIN MUSIC WEEK: 05TH-9TH OF SEPTEMBER 2012

The Berlin Music Week 2011 was for all participants, partners, visitors and guests the music-highlight of the year and an all around spectacular event. Here, the debate about the future of the music industry was held and Berlin´s position as capital of the music industry was clearly highlighted. A week full of creativity, innovation, trends and records. No matter if in clubs, on the streets or at the airport - for six days Berlin Music Week transformed the city into an exciting music-metropolis. Not least, the Berlin Music Week helps to further strenghten the touristy potential of the city.

BERLIN MUSIC WEEK’S THIRD COURTYARD CONCERT ON THE 7TH OF SEPTEMBER: NYLON, SORRY GILBERTO & FELIX MEYER

Berlin Music Week invites you to third and last edition this summer of Berlin Music Week courtyard concerts at C/O Berlin. The concert will take place in aid of the campaign "Deine Stimme gegen Armut", which will be presented by Eufrigina Reis from Mozambique. Once again there is no entrance fee, everyone is welcome!

OPENING OF BERLIN MUSIC WEEK: NEW MUSIC AWARD - THE WINNER

Congrats to Captain Capa, who won the New Music Award last night and thanks everyone, who came out - and to all partners and supporters who made this evening to such a pleasant opening of Berlin Music Week 2011.
